As beautiful and versatile as leather straps are, they do not tolerate regular contact with water well. But there are stylish solutions for such applications. The water-resistant nylon straps in various colours, which are particularly popular with swimmers and divers, are soft and comfortable to wear. They feature a KRONSEGLER crest button and are padded with water-repellent polyurethane on the underside. In contrast to Velcro fasteners, pull-through straps and folding clasps often used with nylon straps, an extra-long pin buckle and the PU-reinforced perforations ensure a secure fit on the wrist. This prevents the watch from being lost in the water.

The strap of your watch is a wearing part and particularly sensitive, especially to moisture, sweat, chemicals and abrasion. It therefore has a limited shelf life and should be replaced regularly, especially for hygienic reasons. The associations of the watch industry recommend the exchange of straps every 6 – 12 months; regardless of the brand.

How to find the right strap for your watch: Please measure the width of the strap on the band lugs on your watch and on the clasp. The widths vary in 2 mm increments (16, 18, 20, 22 mm). Find the right strap according to this classification:
Texture embossing – color of strap/color of clasp – band attachment width (mm)/ width of clasp (mm) – emblem button on front of strap? – type of clasp
