Description

10 years of “ETERNITAS” – “Aeternitas” means “immortality”, which is still a fitting name for the reissue of the KRONSEGLER classic from 2005.

The new ETERNITAS II retains the previous design, but gains a new function – that of a 2nd time zone display (GMT). In addition, the case has been significantly slimmed down with a new movement, so that the watch lies very flat on the arm with a thickness of just 9 mm, allowing shirt or blouse cuffs and jacket sleeves to slide over it with ease. All 6 model colors are retained. 3 gold-plated and 3 steel models with blue or matt cream two-tone dials are complemented by 4 Breguet-style hands.

The hand date previously displayed in the center circle has been moved to the 6 o’clock position as a numerical date, but the watch now displays a 2nd time zone on the inside. As before, the dial of the watch proclaims a little Latin philosophy under the calendar circle, which reads: SED FUGIT INTEREA – FUGIT IRREPARABILE TEMPUS [And meanwhile, time escapes – escapes irretrievably].
