PHAENOMEN – regulateur on 21 rubies with 24H central hand module, automatic winding, 180° date module and decentralised 12H and second hand

The KronSegler caliber of the watch series “PHAENOMEN” is a newly developed module construction on a Citizen base movement on 21 rubies with automatic winding. The primary innovation is that the movement is placed decentrally in the case, which puts the 24H display, originally placed on the left, in the center. The 24H pointer, which used to run below the 12H hand mechanism, was raised to form the central regulateur pointer. “Regulateur” is the name of a watch that shows the time with a separate hour hand. In the case of the “PHAENOMEN”, a 24-hour single-hand watch is created. The previously centrally located 12H display moves to the side position and shows the classic 12H time additionally. The second hand moves to the 4H position. The date disc was rotated by 180° and mirrored and moves to the left next to the centre.

The watch has a diameter of 45mm and a thickness of 12mm. The solid 316L stainless steel case is polished and, depending on the model, two-ply real gold-plated. The bottom is screwed with 6 screws, provided with a glass window over the balance and engraved with the technical parameters and the watch number. The watch glass is scratch-resistant sapphire.

The bevelled inner bezel and the main dial are matt antique white, the 12H and second dials are set in pure white. The scale of the day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. is printed in red on the inner bezel, the night area from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in blue. The PHAENOMEN is available with either a Roman or an Arabic 24-hour indexing. With three case colors, 6 model variants are created.

The date has a diamond-coated frame. The second hand is highlighted in red, the 12H and 24H hands are blued with a silver-white centre.

The leather straps in black, brown or blue are thickly padded, alligator-embossed and equipped with a KRONSEGLER emblem button and a folding clasp.

The watch is delivered in a dark green exclusive box with certificate card, a 12-page booklet with a detailed description and a polishing cloth.
