Description

The special edition “German Composers” is dedicated to famous German composers: Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Joseph Haydn, Richard Wagner (for his 200th birthday), Ludwig v. Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss.

The edition uses a 3-part stainless steel case with a round case and stepped bezel. The case is matt brushed in the gold-plated version and polished in steel. The glass is not flat, but slightly curved, which creates an exclusive shine on the front of the watch. It is also coated with a scratch-resistant DFC diamond film coating.
On the dial, there is an opening consisting of 3 circular elements above the balance wheel and the escape wheel, which reveals the rhythmic “heartbeat” and the ruby jewels of the movement. The dials of the watch have a matt silver-white or antique yellow guilloché finish and bear the composer’s name. As a special highlight, the beveled inner bezel features the circle of fifths as a seconds scale, with “R. Wagner” referring to the score of “Die Walküre” and “R. Strauss” to “Der Rosenkavalier”. The hands are skeletonized, diamond-cut and “mounted”, i.e. not flat but pressed into a relief. The central, extra-long second hand has a treble clef at the short end. The glass back of the automatic watch reveals a completely skeletonized movement.

The padded leather straps of the watch are alligator embossed and feature a Kronsegler crest button and a butterfly folding clasp. The automatic watch is delivered in an exclusive box with booklet, certificate card and polishing cloth. The EDITION is limited and numbered to 500 pieces.
