As different as the two arts of music and watchmaking may seem at first glance, the Composer watch series brings them together harmoniously. The precisely oscillating balance wheel sets the pace of time, which is why it deserves special attention in this watch series. On the dial, there is an opening consisting of three gyroscopic elements above the balance wheel and the escape wheel, which reveals the rhythmic “heartbeat” and the ruby jewels of the movement.

The watch faces are matt silver-white or antique yellow guilloché and bear the signature of the respective composer. As a special detail, the beveled inner bezel features the circle of fifths as a seconds scale; for “Richard Wagner” it is the score of “Die Walküre,” and for “Richard Strauss” it is that of “Der Rosenkavalier.” The hands are skeletonized, diamond-cut, and mounted, meaning they are not flat but pressed into relief. The central, extra-long second hand bears a treble clef at its short end.

The large glass back of the automatic watch reveals its completely skeletonized movement. The edition features a 3-piece stainless steel case with a round case guide and stepped bezel. The case is matt brushed in the gold-plated version and polished to a shine in steel. The watch glass is not only flat, but also slightly domed, creating an exclusive shine on the front of the watch. It is also coated with a DFC diamond film coating.

The watch’s padded leather straps feature an alligator embossed pattern and are fitted with a crown glider crest button and a butterfly clasp. This clasp is not only highly decorative, but also ensures a secure fit on the wrist and protects the perforations in the leather strap, extending its durability.
