KRONSEGLER is continuing its limited series with the special edition “German Poets”. The series is dedicated to poets who created a large part of their works in German-speaking countries.

Design:
The theme of a “poet’s watch” is, of course, poetry. The details on the dial are therefore particularly picturesque. The silver, blue, antique silver or graphite-colored dial is divided into two frosted and two polished curved sectors. In combination with a slightly convex, super-hard K1 watch glass, this creates a three-dimensional effect. Two ascending bird lobes can be seen in the upper dial sectors, symbolizing the “winged word”. The hands used are the “Louis XV” models, originally common in old pocket watches, with classicist ornamentation. This continues as a lavish frame around the date at 6 o’clock, with a 1.3 mm diamond in black, blue or white on either side. Above this sits the curved name of the respective poet. The 3-part stainless steel case is steel or gold-plated.

Movement and features:
The watch is powered by the flat automatic movement K029.024 mounted on 24 rubies (CITIZEN base), a “fast beat movement” with 28,800 A/h (4 Hz) and a modified date disk at 6 o’clock. The watch back is made of glass and shows the movement with a Côtes de Genève finish and gold-plated rotor, on which the bird ornamentation of the dial is laser-engraved. Thanks to this very flat movement, the watch only has a case thickness of < 11 mm.
The leather strap in black or brown is padded, alligator embossed and fitted with a KRONSEGLER coat of arms button and folding clasp. The watch is delivered in an exclusive box with booklet and numbered certificate card. It is limited to 999 pieces per model.
