GENIUS – Special Edition „Garnet“

The Kronsegler GENIUS is a complex mechanical wristwatch that visualizes temporal relationships based on the scientific and creative findings of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.

The mechanical and visual highlight of the watch is a 24-hour disk that uses Da Vinci’s “Holistic Man” to depict the biorhythm and course of the day. The disk is set into a multi-layered dial and has recessed symbols that appear in red every 4 quarters of the day. In the upper layer of the dial, a “circle of infinity” has been created around a recessed segment, under which the date display operates. The automatic watch has a power reserve indicator. This display is located under the upper layer of the dial and emphasizes the sculptural design of the dial construction. All functions are labeled in Latin and are displayed using classic leaf hands.

The movement is a 28,800 A/h high-speed oscillator (4 Hz) and is mounted on 26 jewels (CITIZEN base). The power reserve after full winding is >40 hours.

The watch is visually striking at 43 mm and 13.8 mm thick, with a brushed body with polished bezel and domed, shimmering super-resistant K1 glass. The back of the watch is screwed on and offers a glass window to view the movement.

The 316L stainless steel cases are silver or yellow gold or rose gold plated (both double layered, IPG + real gold), the dials are silver or umbra.

The leather strap padded, embossed and equipped with a KRONSEGLER folding clasp.

GENIUS is delivered in an exclusive dark green box with a certificate, a 12-page booklet with detailed description and a polishing cloth.
